In order to be eligible for the bursary scheme, you must fit the following criteria:
§
you are an active coach, (or are planning to be active, once qualified), in the
Yorkshire & Humber region
§
you are linked to a sports club or organisation where you will deliver your coaching
§
you are able to provide a true and accurate reference
§
you have a current CRB check
§
you are already booked on a course and have paid, (or plan to pay), for the full
cost of the coaching course up front (note: the course start date must not be within 7 days of the date of this application)
If successful, the following will be required of you upon completion of your course,
before you can be reimbursed:
§
you must provide proof of payment for the course
§
you will volunteer at a sports club, as a coach, for the number of hours set by the
level of the course: level 1 - 6 hours, level 2 - 12hours
§
you will create an activepassport profile and add to it: a current photo, details of
your course completed and log the hours you have volunteered (note: an activation code will be given upon successful application)
Notes:
If your application is successful, we will send you a confirmation letter that will contain the above
what is expected of you and the deadlines when these must be achieved by.
All details given during the application process, the attendance and completion of the course and
the hours logged as being a volunteer coach, will be independently verified by the associated National Governing Body for the sport.

If successful, you or your club will be responsible for ensuring that the applicant achieves the necessary
requirements outlined below, before either your club, yourself or the applicant can be reimbursed:
§
you must provide proof of payment for the course
§
the applicant will volunteer at a sports club, as a coach, for the number of hours
set by the level of the course: level 1 - 6 hours, level 2 - 12 hours & Level 3 - 18 hours
§
the applicant will create an activepassport profile and add to it: a current photo,
details of your course completed and log the hours you have volunteered (note: an activation code will be sent upon successful application)
